My son Allen and I sometimes go Geocaching. Geocachers leave hidden caches (there is almost certainly one near you) and then they publish the latitude and longitude of the cache, along with hints on how to find it. The photo above shows a magnetic lock box and the geocaching directions that we used to find it. If you have never geocached, you might think that knowing the latitude and longitude would guarantee that you could find the cache. This is rarely the case.

Frustrations of the Computer Kind

I have worked with computers since I was fifteen years old. I love working with them. Most of the time. In the picture above, I’m happily working on my HP/Compaq laptop. The latest in a long line of laptops I’ve owned. Yesterday, I wasn’t smiling.

Transition

One of the biggest transitions of my life was when I became owner of Robelle Solutions Technology. After having worked for the company for twelve years, I bought out Annabelle (the “belle” in Robelle). I became President and was responsible for all company administration, in addition to my CTO responsibilities.

I recently wrote in Can You Feel It? about the experience of choosing our Spring Break holiday with Flight Centre and Sunquest Holidays. Last week we went to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico to enjoy our holiday. When we arrived, we had a personal card from Mauricio, our local Sunquest representative.
