I volunteer at Dragonboat Regattas in Vancouver’s False Creek. Dragonboat racing is a popular sport in Vancouver with thousands of participants. This weekend I was driving race referees around the race course all afternoon. There was one other referee and boat driver and between the four of us we had no extra people on the water. Which meant that we spent the entire afternoon out on the water helping to run race after race.
You are what you believe. If the people in an organization think the company is small, they will act that way. If they think the company is big, they will act that way. It all comes down to belief.
One of the biggest transitions of my life was when I became owner of Robelle Solutions Technology. After having worked for the company for twelve years, I bought out Annabelle (the “belle” in Robelle). I became President and was responsible for all company administration, in addition to my CTO responsibilities.
I was surprised the other day to realize that I have written over fifty blog postings in this blog. When I started 2011, I decided that I would commit to more writing with a focus on the theme of Communication, Collaboration, and Business. Rather than a specific plan for the year, I decided to be different and only focus on this theme, letting the blog postings come out as they will.
